Does Celtic Sea Salt have any health concerns when used on skin?

- Minimal absorption. While your skin may absorb trace minerals and electrolytes from salt water (like magnesium and potassium), these amounts are very small and not enough to affect systemic health conditions (e.g. blood pressure, cholesterol).
- Gentle but not for broken skin. Like most salts, it can sting on cuts, abrasions, or very sensitive areas. That’s why labels usually say: “Do not apply to broken or irritated skin.”
- Potential for mild irritation. A small percentage of people with very sensitive skin may experience dryness or redness if used too often without balancing moisturisers.
